Could you recomend some software for User Registration,

this is not for hosting but an entirely different project.

I need user registration, user editing profiles, user help desk for problems.

searchable customer list

full email functions

staff allocation for login and searching customer list.

allocation of email addresses to different sections

mysqp database as the registration would be at least 50,000 to start with.

I have looked and looked and the best program I can find is PerlBill.

before I buy just wanted know if anybody knows of a better program.

thanks everyone

Yes, PerlBill is the only one I can think of at this point. However, PerlBill does cost some $$$. What in PerlDesk doesn't fit your requirements??

Yep thanks Matt I spent about 6 hours going through many applications last night on the cgi forums etc,

Perldesk does not have a search function for clients, this won't matter initially but when there are 50,000 or more customers it would be hard finding what I need

After emailing support for Perldesk they assured me I can upgrade when to Perlbill with out any problems so I think Perldesk will be the way to go unless I find any other better programs in the next few days.

Sounds great!

I sincerely suggest Perldesk. It has so many features that are great for tracking user issues.

What's the price for PerlDesk? Do you mind to share?

Thanks.

I'd recommend www.edgepanel.com

It looks a lot better than perldesk and uses alot less resources as it was written in PHP. We are switching from perldesk to edgepanel once the new site is done
