Yeah....part of my family just went to NYC the other day. First off, Ground Zero is a must-see site. (BTW, I didn't go.) There's this church surrounded by a fence that has tons of memorial stuff hanging on it. There's a building right be Ground Zero that is totally covered with a blanket. Enough said.
However, if you do happen to go to a NYC deli, make sure you order the smallest possible order. Their big sandwiches are asolutely humungous, covered with a lot of everything :) .
Have fun in NYC!
(This is all taken from my family, not me personally  .)

I think we are going to go all over. We are staying there for 6 days. Do you have any other suggestions?

Well for one, if your going to spend 6 days in NYC, you better go to a nice restraunt. When I say nice I mean nice. Get steak  .
Has anyone been to Chicago?? If anyone is planning to, you must visit Bistro 110. It's a rather fancy restraunt, costs a lot (about $25-30 per person), and it has great food!
Have fun Rob. When are you leaving? Your going to be leaving the job as administrator to the rest of the AcuNett staff :( .

My top priority when picking a hotel was that they had high-speed internet access. And I found one so I will take my laptop and continue my work there. :-D

Oh sounds cool. Laptops are nifty machines, even though they do cost a ton more than desktops. They sure are worth it if you travel a lot.

Good thread!
Keep posting NYC info. My wife, daughter and I are planning a visit there in a few weeks. I haven't been there in 28 years. I do seem to remember about the "family sized" sandwiches, but we need all the travel tips you can share.

Ah, reviving an old thread. Anyways, NYC... the first US city I lived in. China Town, great food and many Asian products.

NYC was a great experience. I went to The Statue of Liberty, went on many tours around and in the Manhatten island and had some great food. I took over 500 pictures of everything I did and am still sorting them out. :-D
