Does cPanel upgrades AWStats through its update, or it should be done manually?

Just wanted to send out a warning to anyone running AWStats 6.2 or
lower, you should upgrade to 6.3 immediately. The exploit has already
taken down phpbb.com, xoops.org and others, and the exploit is
discussed here:

Yes, cPanel has released a patch for the vulnerability in it Edge and Current builds. We recemmend everyone upgrade to one of those two builds or submit a ticket to us and we will take care of it.
